August 14-16, 2004: Doylestown, Pennsylvania

The drive out from Long Island to Pennsylvania was much less hectic and quicker.  As usual, Stacey and Dave's house was a whirlwind.  Since the last time I visited in 2002, Camryn arrived (and yes, she does look a lot like Stacey did at this age to me):

The house has changed a little bit, moreso on the inside, but surprisingly, they are moving to a new home a few miles away.  I got a quick look, but I'll see it next time I visit.

Two years is a long time and Kelsie and Jamie are so much bigger and older.

Additionally, the Hermances had an additional visitor, Zaire (hope I'm spelling that reasonably), who was visiting for the week from Brooklyn.  (She is a little older than Kelsie.)  So with four young girls plus me, it was a little faster paced than the other places I'd visited.  Next year, I need to set aside more time.  Stacey and I spent one fun afternoon bowling with the girls and then afterwards the girls played arcade games there.  Everyone won something...and everyone bowled about as one would expect for amateurs.

There didn't seem to be enough time to take pictures; I got a few...Dave's parents and grandmom (hope I got that right) visited on Sunday afternoon and evening (the 15th) and the rain held off for a barbeque.

But it was over too soon.  A week and a half is a long time, but it was gone in a hurry...I liked the three week version better.  Maybe next year...
