Back in Doylestown after a couple of days on the Chesapeake, I made the short trip (approx. 70 miles) from there to Manhattan on July 2. Justin and Carla have just rearranged their apartment such that there is much more living space (naturally, I didn't take any still photos, but there is video...). This was a chance to relax and catch up with what had been going on since the wedding when I last saw them. On Independence Day, we took the train out to Islip for an afternoon barbeque with several of Carla's relatives.
I carried on the Sloss tradition of taken numerous photographs of the family dog, Duncan. In this series of action photos, he is accompanied by several unidentified strangers:
